Sometimes, when we are diving deep into our meditation practice and self-inquiry, we can become very serious, obsessively analytical and quite fixed around what we think our inner journey should look and feel like. And yet, when we consider the great spiritual teachers of our time, we see that they are not serious at all! In fact, they are shining examples of divine joy, play and childlike wonder. Just look at the Dalai Lama!
What if we took ourselves – and our spiritual practice – a little less seriously? What if we prioritized curiosity, over analysis? What if we were able to discover a sense of lightness, joy and play in our practice? And what if we could apply that to our lives? To our relationships?
In Tantric Yoga, this notion of lightness and play is known as leela. Join Hilary Jackendoff, Senior Yogic and Tantric Meditation Teacher for this unique 4 day retreat. Together, we will discover how to apply the teachings of leela to our meditation practice, our lives, our relationships and the way we understand spiritual teachings. The intention of this retreat is to help you access deeper levels of joy and creativity, resulting in an increased connection to your intuition, and inner wisdom.
Hilary will be guiding various meditative techniques, including Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, and Mantra. You will be journaling as a means to connect to your intuition, and exploring short periods of self-guided practice as a means to discover the inner-play of your own Consciousness.
In addition, there will be specific periods dedicated to playful silence, in which we will learn to connect joyfully and lovingly to others, without words.
