Yoga Nidra, or ‘yogic sleep’ is an effortless form of meditation, practiced from a lying down position. Known among yogis as a ‘meditation nap,’ Yoga Nidra is recommended for jet-lagged or burned out professionals, exhausted moms and dads, stressed out teens and all those who want to start a meditation practice, but don’t know where to begin.
However, Yoga Nidra is much more than just a relaxing pseudo-nap. Hilary Jackendoff has devoted the last 10 years to studying, practicing and teaching this powerful meditation technique. In this intermediate level workshop, Hilary will share how this ancient, Tantric meditation can be the access key to effortless transformation and spiritual awakening. In addition to a restorative and healing 45 minute Yoga Nidra practice, you will be guided through gentle yoga postures and an energetically harmonizing pranayama sequence.
